About PLAMAG

PLAMAG GmbH is a medium-sized contract and component manufacturer in Plauen with more than 100 years of mechanical engineering tradition at the site. The company machines workpieces of virtually any geometry in lot size 1 as well as in small and medium series: CNC milling of large parts up to 8 tonnes and 5 m in length, CNC turning, cylindrical and surface grinding up to 450 mm diameter with integrated measuring systems, as well as drilling and sawing. In addition, PLAMAG offers the assembly of plants, units and subassemblies, wet painting in its own painting facility, annealing in its own hardening furnace up to 900 °C, and a logistics service with a spare parts warehouse (approx. 32,000 items, approx. 1,000 shipments daily worldwide). Jig and fixture design, tooling technology and CNC programming ensure short reaction times. Customers come from mechanical engineering, the packaging industry, electrical engineering and special machinery construction; since 2017, KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH has been a shareholder and largest customer.
