About Plastika Orth & Wächter

Plastika Orth & Wächter GmbH is a plastics-processing manufacturer with its own toolmaking operation in Kierspe (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company produces trade products such as painter's tools, mason's tools, tiler's tools, handgrips and special tools made of plastic, as well as components and assemblies as contract manufacturing. Value creation takes place in-house, from the initial idea through design and toolmaking to injection-moulding series production, including assembly, printing, labelling, packaging and shipping logistics. In its own tool shop, injection moulds are produced on a CNC-controlled milling machine (working area 700 x 700 x 500 mm); the machine fleet also includes lathes as well as milling, drilling, grinding and sink EDM machines. Tools are kept on hand in the fire-protected tool store and sampled on the company's own plastic injection moulding machines. In addition to plastic, metal and renewable raw materials (bioplastic) are also used; shell grips are joined using ultrasonic welding. The company produces small and medium volumes as well as large lot sizes.
