About PLATINUM

PLATINUM is a manufacturer of pet food for dogs and cats based in Bingen am Rhein. The product range includes dry and wet food, snacks and care products. The basis of the recipes is fresh meat of food grade quality, prepared without the addition of water or broth. The dog food is produced using the meat juice cooking process (FSG), in which at least 70 % fresh meat is cooked under vacuum at low temperature in its own meat juice; the dry food is created by longer cooking with a residual moisture content of at least 18 %. The cat food MeatCrisp is gently dried with at least 81–82 % fresh meat in the fresh meat dryer, without meat or animal meal. The wet food is filled into Tetra Recart cartons. Since August 2020, the company has had its dog food regularly and independently tested by ELAB Analytik GmbH (formerly TÜV SÜD ELAB) and publishes the test parameters online. Products are sold in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands, supplemented by a factory outlet at the headquarters in Bingen.
