About Pleione Energy
Pleione Energy S.A. is an international joint venture founded in 2015 between the Greek ADAMANT COMPOSITES LTD and the German OMNIDEA-RTG GmbH, headquartered in the Lefkippos Technology Park of NCSR Demokritos in Athens. The company develops, designs and produces cost-efficient products for a more sustainable energy economy, with a focus on nanomaterials such as graphene. The portfolio includes graphene-based electrodes and cells for battery and supercapacitor packs and modules as well as modular energy storage and power systems for small satellites, the space ground segment, defence and green buildings. In addition, Pleione Energy develops integrated energy storage systems for renewable energy applications and explores the potential of graphene and other nanomaterials for current and future technologies of the space and energy industry. With its German subsidiary Pleione Energy GmbH in Stuhr (Lower Saxony), the company is also present in the DACH region.
