About the Pörner Group
The Pörner Group is an Austrian engineering company headquartered in Vienna with additional locations, which has been planning and realizing process industry plants since 1972. The company offers all engineering services for the new construction and modernization (revamp) of process plants: complete plant planning, process engineering, project management, structural design, systems engineering, architecture and structural analysis, construction supervision, as well as validation and qualification of building services (MEP systems) through to commissioning. Proprietary technologies such as Biturox® (bitumen oxidation), GasConvert, Pörner Water, SDA Plus deasphalting or the Bitumen Packing System complement the planning services. Customers include renowned refineries and chemical companies such as OMV, Borealis, PCK, Shell and Total, some of which have long-standing engineering and framework agreements.
