POLO was founded in Vienna in 1986 and has been connecting international manufacturers with customers in Central and Eastern Europe for 40 years. The portfolio includes paper and carton solutions made from virgin and recycled fiber, paper, board, tissue, mono-materials and aluminium for packaging and printing applications. In addition, POLO offers a tailored machine portfolio ranging from full-line systems to stand-alone machines (HFFS, VFFS) for all process stages from processing to palletizing. Services include sourcing, sales & marketing, logistics and warehousing, co-packing, sampling, risk management and consulting, as well as Europe-wide service and the technical conversion of packaging machines for the use of paper. Through the partnership with Pankaboard, the company distributes sustainable cartonboard solutions in new markets. The headquarters is located in Vienna; further offices exist inter alia in Sofia, Zagreb, Budapest, Bielsko-Biała and Vilnius.
