About PolyTec
PolyTec GmbH is a plastics processor based in Haren (Ems) that has specialised in the machining of engineering plastics since 1995. The company manufactures custom components from samples, sketches or drawings – from simple wear parts to complex functional parts. Common engineering plastics such as PE, UHMW-PE, PP, PVC, POM, PA, PET, PC, PMMA and PEEK are used, sourced from an extensive stock of sheets and round bars. Production takes place on CNC machining centres: gantry milling machines with a working area of 3000 × 2000 × 100 mm, vertical milling machines and CNC lathes. In addition, the company offers material selection consulting, engineering services for the design of plastic components, plastic welding in accordance with DVS guidelines, and assembly of components to drawing. Customers come from industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, logistics systems, the food and beverage industry, medical and pharmaceutical technology, environmental and recycling technology, vehicle construction, shipbuilding and hydraulic engineering. The company operates nationwide and across Europe for large and medium-sized companies and employs around 25 staff.
