About us
Polytrona AG was founded in 1967 as a manufacturer of electronic products and has been producing in Stansstad in the canton of Nidwalden since 1974. The company manufactures custom single- and double-sided (plated-through) printed circuit boards in-house, assembles them using SMD and conventional technology, and offers device and apparatus construction up to final assembly. In addition, transformers for high-voltage and HF applications are produced. The range of services includes EMC-compliant circuit board design and PCB layout on Altium Designer, digitization from samples, drawings or films, as well as an express service from 24 hours. Base materials are FR4 standard, FR4 high-TG, FR4 halogen-free, polyimide, aluminium and CEM1 with copper layers of 0 to 250 µm. The company delivers its products to EN ISO 9001:2015 to large and small companies in the electronics, medical, automotive and railway industries.
