About Ponachem Compound
Ponachem Compound GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, develops, produces and distributes industrial compounds based on HDPE, PS, ABS and PP for extrusion and injection molding applications. Under the PONACOM brand, the product range includes pipe compounds, extrusion grades and compounds for technical parts, cable insulation and blow molding, complemented by individual formulation adaptations to customer compositions and standard grades available from stock. In addition to compound manufacturing, the company purchases truckloads and part loads of HDPE, PS, ABS and PP — prime material, remaining stocks, off-spec material and regrind — thereby contributing to the recycling of plastic resources. Quality assurance is carried out according to an integrated quality management system certified to ISO 9001; the company is also certified to EMAS, REACH-compliant and certified to ISCC PLUS. Packaging is provided according to customer requirements as silo material, octabins, big bags or bagged goods. Production and administration are located at the headquarters at Horner Landstraße 378-380 in Hamburg.
