About Pott's Brauerei
Pott's Brauerei is a family brewery founded in 1769 in Oelde, Westphalia, today run by the Pott family in the seventh generation. The brewery produces twelve permanently available beers, including country-style beer, Pilsener, wheat beer, cellar beer and wood-aged bock beers, as well as soft drinks and mineral water under the Gesaris brand. Production is spread across two sites: malt intake and fermentation take place at the Old Town Brewery, while maturation, filtration, filling and dispatch occur at the Nature Park Brewery, built in 1996 at the Oelde motorway exit. The beers mature for 21 days. With a glass experience brewery, the brewing and baking house, the Georg Lechner Beer Museum and the Franz Arnold Hall (1,100 m²), the company combines production with experiential gastronomy and tourism – the brewery counts around 20,000 visitors annually. 65 employees are employed.
