About Power-Heat-Set

Power-Heat-Set GmbH is a machine manufacturer specializing in heatsetting systems for the carpet industry, headquartered in Töging am Inn, approximately 80 km east of Munich. The company was founded in 2002 as a spin-off of the textile division of Resch Maschinenbau GmbH, whose origins go back to the specialist workshop established by Ludwig Resch senior in 1957. Based on the Suessen Heat Set process developed in 1973, Power-Heat-Set manufactures machines and components for the heat treatment of carpet yarn, including the GVA and HiPerSet series as well as the Steamatic in-line steaming unit. All systems are manufactured at the German headquarters by highly qualified technicians; an in-house laboratory and a test line are available for material trials and training. Through its US subsidiary Power-Heat-Set of America in Dalton (Georgia) and worldwide sales and service teams, the company serves customers in the textile and carpet industry internationally. The Resch Group comprises, in addition to Power-Heat-Set, the sister companies Resch Maschinenbau and ViscoTec with a total of more than 300 employees.
