About PPK
PPK – Platte und Püttmann GmbH, based in Kierspe, manufactures high-quality technical plastic products using the injection moulding process as well as high-precision injection moulds. The machine fleet comprises more than 20 injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 250 to 2,000 kN, producing parts weighing from 0.5 g to 400 g each – from the smallest series to large-scale production. A core competence is the printing of products using the hot stamping process, usually as online printing directly within the injection moulding process chain. The company covers the entire process chain: from 3-D design through its own toolmaking (CNC milling, turning, grinding, die sinking EDM) to series production, assembly of complete assemblies, packaging and shipping. The focus of its activities is the production of articles for the DIY sector; further customers come from the construction, furniture and leather goods industries. The range of plastic flat cases for twist drills has been developed since the 1970s and is regarded as one of the largest worldwide.
