Präzisions Glas & Optik GmbH (PGO) in Iserlohn has been manufacturing technical optics and glass components for business customers for over 30 years. The product range includes optical windows, substrates, colored glass and interference filters, surface mirrors, glass wafers, thin glass, fused silica components and glass ceramics (including MACOR). Manufacturing includes CNC glass cutting with tolerances down to ±30 µm, CNC glass machining, edge grinding (rounding), lapping and polishing, chamfering, precision and ultrasonic drilling, waterjet cutting, sandblasting as well as thermal and chemical tempering and optical cementing. In its own coating facility, standard and custom dielectric and metallic thin films are produced, such as anti-reflective, ITO, mirror and filter coatings (including aluminum, silver, ITO). The material portfolio includes synthetic fused silica (UV grade), BOROFLOAT, B270, D263 T, AF 32 eco, EAGLE XG, MEMpax, BK7 and other specialty glasses. Typical delivery times are 2–3 weeks; a 48-hour express service for many materials and coatings complements the offering. Customers come from the optics industry, semiconductor technology, laser applications, UV metrology, analytics, aerospace as well as research and science; deliveries are made worldwide from Iserlohn.
