About Lammbrauerei Weilheim
The Privatbrauerei Lammbräu in Rietheim-Weilheim has been brewing beer at Schillerstrasse 3 since 1648. The range includes Premium Pils, Export, Schwarzes Wäldle and, seasonally, dark Bock beer with 9% alcohol content. The beer is brewed in a craft manner according to the German Purity Law with the brewery's own spring water from the brewery spring well. Main fermentation takes place traditionally without pressure and heat in open fermentation vats; afterwards the beers mature for several weeks, depending on the variety, in cool storage cellars before being bottled and filled into kegs. The brewhouse, fermentation and storage cellars and the filling plant are located at the Schillerstrasse site; the brewhouse commissioned in 1977 operates with a 128 hl brew kettle. Attached to the brewery is a beverage wholesale business for resellers and private customers with partner beers, wines, soft drinks, juices, mineral waters and spirits; customers within a 50 km radius are supplied.
