Brewery Schlumberger – Tradition since 1847
Privatbrauerei Schlumberger is a regionally rooted family brewery in Nattheim (Heidenheim district), founded in 1847 by Leonhard Schlumberger with the purchase of the 'Zum Ochsen' tavern. With 25 employees, around 35,000 hectoliters of beer are brewed annually in twelve beer varieties – from Nattheimer Spezial to pilsner to various wheat beers – strictly according to the German Purity Law and with hand-selected raw materials. The product range has been extended to include spirits: beer brandy, Jubi Gin and, since 2019, a single malt whisky aged for years in wooden casks. Production comprises a modern brewhouse as well as a bottle and keg filling line, whose production and filling operations are networked over 180 m. Distribution is via more than 130 retailers in the regions of Heidenheim, Aalen and Dillingen (approx. 60 km radius), the 900 sqm BRÄUMARKT, an online shop and an event service with beverages and event equipment.
