The engineering office, based in Stockach, has been active in the field of structural engineering since 1996. Its range of services includes structural plan reviews in building construction, industrial construction and bridge construction, structural diagnostics including building monitoring, building fabric analyses, including on historic buildings, as well as expert opinions on building damage and structural dynamics. The core business is structural design and consulting for structures made of reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel, timber, glass and plastics, including fire design (hot-state design) of reinforced concrete columns in accordance with Eurocode 2. For structural diagnostics, methods such as rebar location, load tests, vibration and oscillation measurements and non-destructive material testing are employed. Structural analysis software packages from Dlubal, Sofistik, Friedrich+Lochner and PCAE are used; dynamic load cases are analysed using frequency analysis or time-history calculations.
