About Protec Industries
Protec Industries is a plastics processing and additive manufacturing company with more than 50 years of experience. Its manufacturing capabilities include plastic injection molding, thermoforming using the twin-sheet and single-sheet methods, blow molding, and components made of carbon and glass fiber composites (GRP). In addition, die casting processes for aluminum, zinc and Zamak are offered, including downstream finishing. In the field of additive manufacturing, resin 3D printing, stereolithography (SLA), PolyJet, FDM/FFF as well as powder-based SLS processes are used, including post-processing for high surface quality. The portfolio is rounded off by product development, engineering and toolmaking, so that all project phases are managed in-house. Customers come from the automotive, medical technology and defense industries; long-standing partners include KTM, Siemens, Magna Steyr and Rheinmetall. Production ranges from prototypes and one-off manufacturing to large-scale series production.
