About Protovation
Protovation GmbH is an engineering office and development partner for SMEs based in Kilb, Lower Austria. The company develops and builds prototypes, pilot plants and special-purpose systems for the fields of energy technology, technical chemistry, mechatronics and mechanical and plant engineering. Its service portfolio covers the entire value chain, from idea generation through potential analysis and concept development to detailed planning, SolidWorks design, assembly of machines, apparatus and assemblies, as well as testing, optimization and MVP design. In addition, it offers chemical and laboratory apparatus construction, electroplating, electrochemistry, sample and damage analysis, and synthesis optimization. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel (V2A, V4A), aluminium, copper, polypropylene and polyethylene; in electroplating, gold, silver and palladium. Its own series products are the heatXpump heat pump for training purposes, the coXrr CO₂ reduction test rig and the flowXcell electrochemistry flow cell. Following the relocation from Hofstetten Grünau, larger offices and an own production hall are available in Kilb. Projects are partly billed on a success-fee basis.
