PSE Stahlhandel GmbH, based in Essen (Schnabelstraße 6), is a steel consultant specializing in steel cut-offs and their processing. The service portfolio includes flame cut-offs by oxy-fuel process (thickness 8–500 mm), plasma and laser cut-offs as well as waterjet-cut parts in thicknesses from 5 to 500 mm, complemented by shear and saw cut-offs as well as checker plate and tread plate. Materials processed include structural steels, fine-grained and pressure vessel steels, high-strength fine-grained structural steels, wear-resistant steels (HB300–HB600, X120Mn12), quenched and tempered and case-hardening steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, aluminium and lead. Downstream processes such as bending up to 100 mm thickness, straightening, blasting/priming, painting according to RAL, heat treatment, drilling, milling, grinding and chamfering are also part of the offering. Upon request, material testing and certificates according to EN 10204 are provided; express production with delivery directly to the installation site is offered.

Inspection certificates and quality
Cut-offs are documented upon request with a works certificate WZ 2.2 or inspection certificate APZ 3.1 according to EN 10204; third-party inspections APZ 3.2 by TÜV as well as classification societies (ABS, BV, GL, LR) are possible. Ultrasonic testing and weldability bend test are performed and documented with a certificate; tolerances follow ISO 9013, and standard extracts on dimensional, flatness and thickness tolerances are available.
