PTS GmbH (Paint Technology Solutions), founded in 1997, is a medium-sized company based in Senden (North Rhine-Westphalia) specialising in the development and production of impregnations and environmentally friendly coating solutions. The portfolio includes fluorine-free (PFAS-free) impregnations for wood, stone and carpet, styrene-free polyester systems as well as furniture, parquet and wood paints. In addition to product development, the company offers contract manufacturing and filling of systems, technical inspections, assessments and quality assurance, as well as customised development for chemical applications. The products are used worldwide in over 150 countries, including in the flooring, furniture and wood industries as well as in the trades. With the inline back-coating technology UV-Silent-Therm, built up from 2024, whose core components were patent-applied for in 2025, and a water-based, PFAS-free polymer technology (nominated for the Münsterland Innovation Award 2026), the family-owned company positions itself in the field of sustainable surface technology.
