Püschmann Maschinenbau GmbH from Jahnsdorf/Erzgeb. specialises in machine tool engineering. Its main field of activity covers the machining processes turning, planing, grinding, drilling and milling; the company works independently of any manufacturer. Its range of services includes the general overhaul and modernisation (retrofit) of machine tools, the reworking and redesign of machine assemblies, special machine and plant engineering as well as spare parts production to drawing or sample part. In the field of electrical engineering, circuit diagrams are created on CAD/CAE systems, along with control cabinets and modernised controls including commissioning. Contract manufacturing produces metal machining products from one-offs to small series. Services include geometric measurement, laser measurement, circularity measurement and error compensation on Siemens and Heidenhain CNC controls, as well as worldwide installations. The newly built machine hall with truck access and a 20t overhead crane allows the refurbishment of even large machines and assemblies, which are dismantled at the customer's site, refurbished in-house and reinstalled.

Quality & Metrology
Geometric measurement and alignment are performed to DIN/ISO or the manufacturer's protocol. For this purpose, a Renishaw XL-80 laser interferometer, a Renishaw QC20-W ballbar gauge and Wyler inclinometers are used; error compensation is carried out via the machine parameters on Siemens and Heidenhain controls.
