About Purem by Eberspächer
Purem GmbH, which since 2021 has been operating as an independent subsidiary under the name “Purem by Eberspächer” of the Eberspächer Group, is a system developer and manufacturer of exhaust aftertreatment and acoustic systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles (on-road and non-road). The portfolio comprises complete exhaust systems, catalytic converters, diesel and gasoline particulate filters, silencers, pipes and exhaust manifolds, as well as solutions for hydrogen applications such as fuel cell systems and the hydrogen engine. In addition to series and after-series production, the company offers small-series and special fabrication, design and development with simultaneous engineering, as well as virtual product and process development. In its own test centers in Europe, North America and Asia, endurance runs, resonance tests, vibration and load analyses as well as emissions and acoustic measurements are performed. Production takes place at around 35 sites worldwide, complemented by just-in-sequence logistics and on-site assembly at customer plants. Customers include virtually all major passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturers.
