About Pyramid Computer
Pyramid Computer GmbH develops and produces IT solutions for network technology, network security, industrial PCs, industrial image processing and self-service kiosk systems. The systems are developed as standardized products or customized OEM/ODM solutions and manufactured in Germany. The product ranges cover servers and industrial PCs (AKHET®), touch solutions (FAYTECH®), POS and kiosk terminals (POLYTOUCH®) as well as paging and localization systems. The hardware ranges from rack-mounted servers and edge IoT gateways to rugged IP65 and IP69K touch PCs with housings made of aluminium or stainless steel, and on to accessible kiosk terminals with integrated peripherals. Customers come from retail, fast-food system catering, public transport, healthcare, mechanical engineering, network technology and research – including Siemens, Daimler, THALES, McDonald's, EDEKA and Marks & Spencer. The headquarters with around 130 employees is located in Freiburg im Breisgau; a production and logistics center exists in Ichtershausen near Erfurt.
