About Q•FOOD
QFOOD GmbH, based in Freiburg, specializes in beverage and beer analysis. The company develops and sells the QUANTOS Analyzer, a benchtop analysis device based on infrared spectroscopy. With a single measurement that takes only a few minutes, the device simultaneously captures numerous ingredients and parameters of a beverage sample – from glucose and citric acid via taurine to bitterness, SO2 content and aroma components – and generates a digital fingerprint of the product. The scope of application covers the entire production chain from mash through fermentation to the filling process; breweries and beverage bottlers use QUANTOS for recipe control, compliance with legal limit values and quality assurance. Operation is via the Q*OS program and, according to the supplier, is possible without prior knowledge. The sample patterns are stored in a Beer & Beverage Base and are available for later evaluations. Delivery is worldwide ex works Freiburg in accordance with the terms and conditions (as of September 2020, EXW, Incoterms 2010).
