Who we are

QTM Automatisierung, Maschinen und Service GmbH, based in Schwalmtal-Waldniel near Mönchengladbach, is a provider of automation technology, die-cutting machines and contract manufacturing. In the field of automation, the company develops and builds customer-specific handling, welding and testing systems as well as the ready-to-operate standard cells UNIPAL (cobot palletizing), UNIPICK (robot-supported picking) and UNISORT (sorting with vision technology). In its Machines business division, QTM acts as exclusive sales representative for new die-cutting presses from the Japanese manufacturer Sanwa and completely overhauls used die-cutting and embossing systems from HEIDELBERG, WPM and WUPA in-house. The contract manufacturing portfolio includes CNC milling (5-axis), CNC turning, grinding, welding (EN ISO 9606-1 certified), steel construction, painting and assembly. Customers come from the packaging industry, the automotive sector, logistics and the manufacturing industry; according to the website, 55 countries rely on QTM. 54 employees work on 5,000 m² of production space, and mechatronics technicians have been trained since 2018.
