Quarzglas Komponenten und Service QCS GmbH has been active in the national and international market in the field of quartz glass apparatus construction and laboratory technology for around 25 years. The company was founded on the takeover of the laboratory technology product line from Heraeus Quarzglas; as a result, the team has over 55 years of experience with the material quartz glass. The focus is on the custom manufacture of quartz glass apparatus, components and parts made of transparent quartz glass and opaque quartz material, complemented by synthetic quartz glass produced by the sol-gel process. The manufacturing spectrum includes mechanical, thermal, surface and laser processing as well as CNC grinding, laser and waterjet cutting technology, welding technology and hot forming – from one-off pieces and series in contract manufacturing through to complete quartz glass devices with electronic control and regulation technology. Customers come from the semiconductor, optics, chemistry, telecommunications, aerospace and IR heating technology sectors as well as from photovoltaics and the laboratory field. The company operates at three sites in Maintal and delivers worldwide.
