About QuaVis Technologies

QuaVis Technologies GmbH develops and manufactures industrial image processing systems in Sauerlach near Munich, focusing on high-speed sorting machines for automated quality control. Screws, fasteners, pins, blind rivets and other small parts are inspected with accuracies down to the micrometer range (repeatability 1 µm) at speeds of up to 2,500 parts per minute. The portfolio includes vision systems with inspection software, the QuaSolo smart camera for inline inspection, sorting machines (metal disc, glass disc, trough, belt, special machines), the Integration Kit with QuaVis-PLC, as well as retrofit solutions for existing machines. Area and line scan cameras, scanners and 3D methods with telecentric optics and proprietary flash control are employed; the QuaVision inspection software uses deep learning models that quality engineers can train and deploy without programming knowledge. The offering is complemented by hardware development (lighting modules, optics, trigger systems), consulting, remote maintenance, and inspection systems for solar cells and wafers. Customers include companies from the automotive, aerospace, medical and electronics industries.

Processes & Imaging

FKA

Area cameras (incident/transmitted light)

Capture surface features in incident light as well as contours and dimensions in transmitted light, up to 64 megapixels.

ZL

Line scan cameras

Capture low-distortion images of virtually any length, ideal for continuous webs and rotationally symmetric parts.

SC

Scanners

Capture large or curved surfaces in controlled relative motion with uniform illumination.

3D

3D imaging

Measures surface topography and makes embossing, recesses and coplanarity evaluable as height values.

TZ

Telecentric optics

Eliminates perspective distortion for distance-independent, dimensionally accurate measurements on small parts.

KIA

AI & Machine Learning (QuaVision)

Deep learning models for defect classification, anomaly detection and surface analysis, trainable without a data science team.

QS

QuaSolo smart camera

Inline inspection in a single camera without a PC, set up via drag-and-drop in the browser.
