About Quicktron Robotics
Founded in 2014, Quicktron Robotics is a robotics company headquartered in Shanghai that develops and manufactures autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and automation solutions for warehouses and factories. The portfolio includes several robot series (M, C, F, A), the QuickBin and QuickCube solutions for goods-to-person picking, and the AMR+ product line with attachments such as conveyor belts, double-roller conveyors and robot arms. Proprietary software platforms – a Logistics Execution System (LES) and a Robot Control System (RCS) – control robot fleets, material flows and production supply and can be integrated with MES, ERP, WMS and SCADA systems. The robots use QR-code, SLAM or hybrid navigation and transport pallets, bins, carts and semi-finished products with an accuracy of 99.99 percent according to the company. According to the company, more than 35,000 robot units are in operation worldwide, serving more than 1,000 customers in over 20 countries. The company employs more than 700 people and invests around 60 percent of its expenditure in research and development. Subsidiaries exist, among others, in Germany (Darmstadt), the USA, the UK, Australia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.
