About R-Space
R-Space is an Austrian space company founded in 2021 in Vienna. With its GreenBox service, it offers a standardized, turnkey route to In-Orbit Demonstration (IOD) and In-Orbit Validation (IOV). Customers supply their payload; R-Space handles integration into a standardized Payload Accommodation Unit (PAU) with normed mechanical, thermal and electrical interfaces, integration into the company's own satellite bus, qualification testing, launch logistics via launch partners, as well as satellite operations and data delivery. The modular satellite platform is available in the sizes 2U, 3U and 6U with payload weights of up to 3000 g, volumes of up to 3600 cm³ and power of up to 24 W. The service targets companies and research institutions from NewSpace, life sciences, pharmaceutical and materials research that want to test new technologies under microgravity and radiation. R-Space is an official partner on the ESA Marketplace and works with, among others, Isar Aerospace and ENPULSION.
