About Radolid

Radolid Thiel GmbH is a manufacturer of plastic protective caps for screw connections of all kinds and sizes. Using the injection molding process, the company produces protective caps for radial screw connections as well as screw caps for bolts and nuts, including the KSW and SKA wheel nut protective caps, the BM screw caps, the SW clamp cap and the HV protective cap. The products provide permanent protection for screw connections against wind, rain, UV radiation, de-icing salt, dirt and temperature fluctuations, and are used in the automotive industry, the wind power industry and the rail industry. The entire production machine fleet consists of injection molding machines from Arburg with clamping forces up to 500 tons; the partnership with Arburg has existed for more than 50 years. In addition, Radolid operates its own toolmaking department, which was expanded in 2021 with a DMG MORI CMX 800 V milling machining center including Mastercam software. Quality assurance has been supported by CAQ software since 2020; the company is certified to ISO 50001.
