About RAMPF
The RAMPF Group was founded in 1980 by Rudolf Rampf in Grafenberg and today develops as an international family business with approximately 900 employees solutions in four areas: reactive casting resin systems for sealing, casting, gluing and shaping; automated mixing and dosing units for reactive plastics such as polyurethane, epoxy resin and silicone; machine beds and frame components made of mineral cast, UHPC and hard stone; and lightweight parts made of CFRP and GFRP. Manufacturing includes vacuum casting, CNC milling of block materials, precision grinding and lapping, resin infusion, VARTM, TFP and hand layup, as well as assembly of modules with cable and media integration. Customers include the sectors of electromobility, automotive, aerospace, electronics, mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, and foundry. In addition to the headquarters in Grafenberg, the group manufactures in Wangen bei Göppingen, Zimmern ob Rottweil, Burlington (Canada) and Wixom (USA).

Vacuum Casting Resin (2K-PU)
Low-viscosity casting resin (Shore D 75–80, HDT 130–135 °C) for prototypes and small series in vacuum casting.
Carbon Fiber Composite
High-stiffness lightweight material for aircraft and UAV structures with up to 40% weight savings compared to aluminum.
Glass Fiber Composite
Impact-resistant, radio-transparent material for fairings, engine cowlings, and radomes.
Reactive Plastics (1K/2K/4K)
Processing of almost all commercially available reactive plastics for sealing, casting, gluing, and foaming (FIPFG/FIPG).

History
- 1980
Rudolf Rampf founded RAMPF Kunststoffsysteme GmbH in an old gymnasium in Grafenberg; development of the first model building plate made of polyurethane, which displaced tropical hardwoods from model and mold making.
- 2001
Establishment of the Rudolf Rampf Foundation to support youth in Grafenberg.
