About RAUH Erodiertechnik
RAUH Erodiertechnik is an owner-managed contract service provider for electrical discharge machining based in Fürth. The company manufactures components using wire EDM (conventional, automated and rotating), start-hole EDM and sinker EDM, and additionally offers laser engraving as well as engineering consulting. Materials machined include carbide, copper and brass; in wire EDM, ultra-fine surfaces down to Ra 0.10 µm, tapers up to ±30° and wire diameters from 0.07 to 0.36 mm are achieved. Automated wire EDM machines with robot systems enable 24-hour production cycles for small series. Customers come from toolmaking and the optics industry; in addition to the regional Fürth/Nuremberg/Erlangen area, the company also supplies customers elsewhere in Europe. Production is geared towards lean production and just-in-time delivery.
