About RAUMKONTOR
RAUMKONTOR is an office for interior architecture, architecture, scenography and media design founded in Düsseldorf in 1993. The transdisciplinary team led by Dipl.-Ing. Andrea Weitz and Prof. Jens Wendland plans and designs interior fit-outs, working environments, residential and hospitality spaces, cultural buildings and trade fair appearances. Services include needs analyses and space programmes, floor plan layouts, cost estimates, design concepts and construction management through to physical realization. In addition, the office offers workshops on working environments (my place*) as well as furniture and product design. Reference projects include the working environment of IT service provider adesso SE in Potsdam-Babelsberg, the trade fair stand of carpet concept (Orgatec 2016, Cologne) with wall cladding made of through-dyed MDF panels, and private town villas in Düsseldorf. Both managing directors are interior architects (Dipl.-Ing.) and members of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia.
