About raumton
raumton GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Berlin specializing in professional room acoustics and manufactures custom sound absorbers for ceilings, walls, partitions, tables and cabinet tops. The company was founded in 2006 by Ulli Müller, an audio engineer and studio builder, and has been run in its second generation by Leonard Ripper since 2022. The product range includes fabric-covered and color-coated ceiling absorbers, baffle and cube absorbers, absorber stretch ceilings, ceiling grid insert panels, wall absorbers including acoustic art with textile printing, moss pictures, partition absorbers and acoustic curtains. Products are manufactured in custom dimensions with over 300 colors and textures; the core material is a mineral-fiber-free, highly flame-retardant plastic of building material class B1 (DIN 4102-1), alternatively non-combustible class A2 material as well as 100 % recyclable PET acoustic felt. The value chain – from room survey and planning through in-house manufacturing to installation – is provided from a single source. Customers come from the office sector, call centers, gastronomy, day-care centers, administration and media production, including the Federal Foreign Office, Vattenfall and Rolls-Royce Power Systems.
