About Reckhaus
Reckhaus GmbH & Co. KG is a family business in Bielefeld founded in 1956 by Klaus Reckhaus, specializing in the manufacture and distribution of insect control products for private households. The product range includes aerosols, liquids, glue traps, powders and granules as well as moth paper, all of which are produced entirely at the Bielefeld site; the company does not use external manufacturing. More than 20 machines run daily in the company's own production; in addition, Reckhaus handles chemical formulation, packaging and design as well as logistics via two of its own high-bay warehouses. Products are distributed to more than 25 European countries. Since 2012, under the INSECT RESPECT quality mark, the company has been driving the compensation of insect losses and implementing insect-friendly habitats, including with dm, ALDI Süd, Rossmann and Halfar Systeme.
