About REDEQ
REDEQ supports companies from industry, trade and production in the planning, remediation and inspection of installations subject to the AwSV (Ordinance on Installations Handling Substances Hazardous to Water) due to the handling of water-polluting substances. The range of services includes overall concepts and detailed design for new construction and conversion of AwSV installations, AwSV classification including substance and mixture classification, preparation of permit applications and coordination with authorities. As an authorised AwSV expert, REDEQ performs inspections in accordance with §§ 46, 47 AwSV and prepares installation documentation and technical expert reports. For remediation projects, the company takes on project management, site supervision and quality management on site, planning measures during ongoing operations to avoid production downtime. Adjacent specialist areas such as fire protection, fire-water containment, explosion protection, metrology and structural engineering are taken into account.
