The REDEX Group is a European engineering company offering mechatronic solutions in three business areas: Machine Drives (high-performance drive systems such as planetary and angle gears of the brands MEROBEL, ANDANTEX, CATEP, ROTOMISSION and CORBAC), Precision Rolling Mills (precision rolling mills for round wire, flat wire and narrow strip) and Strip Processing Technologies (strip processing lines). The product range comprises duo and quarto rolling mills, 14Hi and 18Hi multi-roll cassette rolling mills, profile rolling mills and shaping units, complemented by proprietary coil systems (unwinders/rewinders), an in-house laser strip thickness gauge (BRLMS) as well as cleaning and cutting systems. Manufacturing takes place in high-tech plants in France and Germany; R&D and engineering are carried out in Technical Centers in France, Germany and Slovakia. Materials processed include copper, aluminium, steel, precious metal alloys as well as special alloys and lithium. Customers include the automotive and battery industries, photovoltaics, aerospace, medical technology, the jewelry and watch industries, as well as universities and research institutes.
