REGUPOL Germany GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Berleburger Schaumstoffwerk GmbH, BSW) is a family-owned industrial company headquartered in Bad Berleburg, in South Westphalia. The company processes recycled elastic raw materials such as rubber, EVA and PU foam – more than 90,000 tonnes annually – into sports flooring, running track surfaces, fall-protection tiles, impact sound and vibration insulation, construction protection mats for flat roofs and anti-slip mats for load securing. Typically, the products consist of 75–95 % recycled materials; roll goods are manufactured in a cold process without vulcanisation. In addition to sheet products, REGUPOL produces moulded parts and coats base mats with a liquid polyurethane wear layer (4.0 Technology). Around 750 employees work worldwide at four plants in Bad Berleburg; the group generates revenue of around €140 million per year and supplies customers in over 100 countries, including reference projects such as the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
