Reichmann Feinoptik GmbH manufactures optical components from technical and optical glasses in Brokdorf: lenses, achromats, projection objectives, colored glass filters (bandpass, longpass, shortpass, neutral and heat protection filters) as well as special optics such as cylindrical lenses, round rods up to 1.150 mm in length, plane-parallel plates, sight glasses, wedge plates and glass paths, as well as diffusing and opal discs. Materials are optical glass, colored glass filters, quartz glass, Duran and borosilicate glass; in addition, thermally tempered colored glass filters and flat glasses are offered. Production combines proven fine optics craftsmanship with modern CNC machines and includes cutting, edge working, beveling, polishing, centering and cementing of supplied optical parts. Thin films such as anti-reflection coatings, mirror coatings, beam splitters and filter coatings refine the components. In-house inspection covers intermediate and final inspection of the lenses as well as transmission measurements with a spectrophotometer. Customers include companies from colorimetry, optoelectronics, analytical technology, medical technology, the printing industry, safety engineering, sensor technology and film technology, as well as research institutes; around 20 employees ensure delivery according to drawings and deadlines.
