About us
Reiner Hackbarth Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH is a family-owned company located in the Drabenderhöhe district of Wiehl in the Oberbergischer Kreis. Since 1964, the company has produced retail packaging from polyethylene and polypropylene films and has specialised in sales-promoting carry and hanging packs made of flexible films. The product range includes carrier bags, block-bottom bags, adhesion bags and resealable zipper bags as well as hook bags and carrier bags with single or double hangers; the associated handles and hooks are, according to the company, produced by injection moulding. Converting is performed on computer-controlled converting machines, a high-speed machine with a 1,000 mm working width, and a parting-seam converting line. Since 2019, the company has also been producing compostable, bio-based or biodegradable film packaging; in 2021 it developed a manufacturing process for pre-opened resealable zipper bags. Customers include, among others, companies from the bedding segment, the home and household textiles sector, and suppliers to self-service department stores. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
