About Reiner Schmitt GmbH Brennereitechnik

Reiner Schmitt GmbH Brennereitechnik in Weselberg (Rhineland-Palatinate) develops, designs, manufactures and installs plants and apparatus for the spirits industry and biogas technology. The core business is distillery technology: plants for aroma distillates and neutral alcohol with capacities of up to 100,000 liters per day; worldwide, around 269,735,000 liters of drinking alcohol are produced annually with this technology. At the headquarters, many components are manufactured ready for operation in-house on more than 3,000 sqm of production space, complemented by vessel and apparatus construction, sanitization systems for biogas substrates, as well as automation and electrical engineering. In addition, the company offers contract and special manufacturing, e.g. small vessels, funnels and sheet metal parts. From the forge founded in 1860, an internationally active family-owned plant manufacturer has emerged; since 2023 the company has been part of the TARVO Group and delivers worldwide, with more than 300 small-scale plants in Germany alone.
