About REMATERIA
REMATERIA GmbH & Co. KG is a recycling company from Diepholz that prepares material streams for recycling plants, smelting and melting operations, and industrial customers. The company emerged from MWT GmbH & Co. KG, which was renamed after roughly twelve years of development in the course of expanding to a second production site in Bakum. REMATERIA processes materials across six orders of magnitude – from grain sizes starting at 1 µm up to 1 m – efficiently in a single process, with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes per year at both sites. The focus is on process automation, complete batch traceability and a data-based circular economy. Core objectives are maximum transparency in material composition as well as higher revenues and sustainable value creation for customers from international industry. The site in Bakum is scheduled to start production from the third quarter of 2027.
