About Remstalkellerei eG
Remstalkellerei eG, based in Weinstadt-Beutelsbach, is a registered winegrowers' cooperative that bundles viticulture and wine marketing in the Rems Valley. Its members cultivate scattered vineyard plots within the winery's catchment area, from whose harvested grapes the winery produces wines of various lines – from litre wines through the grape variety line and PRIMO to classics, Edition "R" and Réserve, complemented by sparkling wines, non-alcoholic alternatives such as Sparkling Tea, mulled wine and spirits. The terroir of the Rems Valley is shaped by a diversity of soils (marl, Keuper, Schilfsandstein) and a cool climate. Direct marketing includes the cooperative's own vinothek in Weinstadt-Beutelsbach, wine tastings, vineyard walks and covered-wagon tours. The cooperative can look back on more than 80 years of tradition and is registered in the register of cooperatives of the Stuttgart District Court; its supervisory association is the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative Association e.V.
