About Renault Trucks
Renault Trucks is a manufacturer of trucks, heavy commercial vehicles and light commercial vehicles, offering diesel as well as electric E-Tech ranges for professional users in logistics, long-haul transport, construction and distribution. The product range extends from vans (Trafic, Master) through the D/D Wide distribution range to the heavy T and C trucks; vehicles cover a weight spectrum of around 3.1 to 120 tonnes. Production takes place in French plants: cabs and electric distribution vehicles in Blainville-sur-Orne, heavy trucks including E-Tech T/C in Bourg-en-Bresse, and engines in Lyon-Vénissieux. The vehicles are manufactured in series production; body and chassis consist predominantly of steel. Since 2001, Renault Trucks has been part of the Volvo Group. In Germany, the company operates its own service and sales locations, Used Trucks Centers, and a network of more than 1,400 service stations across Europe; services include maintenance, spare parts, fleet management and financing.
