About REO

REO AG was founded in 1925 in Berlin, initially as a manufacturer of lighting solutions for advertising and promotional purposes; the company name derives from "Reklame Erster Ordnung" (Advertising of the First Order). Today, the family-owned company develops and produces inductive, resistive and electronic components such as chokes, EMC filters, transformers, current transformers, resistors, power controllers and electrical test equipment. In addition, REO offers customised complete solutions, electrical simulations and its own test technology to reduce development times and costs. Production takes place at sites in Germany using high-quality materials and energy-efficient machines. Customers come from industries such as vibratory conveying technology, e-mobility, railway technology, test rig construction, medical technology, drive technology, power electronics, defence technology as well as marine and deep-sea technology. Through subsidiaries in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, the company is internationally positioned.
