About REPLOID

REPLOID Group AG develops and implements industrial ReFarmUnits – modular, decentralised facilities in which larvae of the black soldier fly convert organic residual materials from agriculture, the food processing industry and food retail. The container-based facilities operate fully automatically with IoT monitoring and digital process control and process up to 180 different types of residual materials. The young larvae receive a site-specific feed mixture based on in-house research and development and grow to 25 times their initial weight in around one week of feeding time. The company handles project management for partners from planning and permitting through construction to operation, as well as the marketing of the end products: larvae, insect protein and insect fat for the animal feed industry, proprietary animal feed brands, and organic premium fertiliser based on insect frass. The offtake of the products is also part of the service offering. The company was founded in 2020 as Insektianer GmbH, converted into an AG in 2023 and has been listed in the direct market plus segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange since 3 July 2025.
