RETERRA Erden Süd GmbH is a specialised manufacturer of soils, growing substrates, vegetation substrates and soil improvers headquartered in Remseck near Stuttgart. The company has been producing high-quality soils at its Remseck site for 50 years; since January 2022 it has additionally operated a soil plant in Aichach near Augsburg, specialised in planting substrates. As a certified waste management specialist company, RETERRA handles not only product manufacturing but also the professional disposal of waste materials from the green waste sector as well as organic and mineral residual materials, thereby closing the cycle from processing to the finished end product. The product range includes lawn soils, tree substrates, green roof substrates, special products such as PAVENA® vegetation joint substrate and slurry substrate for tree planting pits, as well as quality-assured green waste compost and fertiliser. Mineral aggregates such as brick grit are processed in-house from recycled bricks by crushing, classifying, washing, sieving and drying. Customers include landscapers, municipalities, retailers, waste management companies, landscape architects and private customers; the company was an official partner of the Federal Garden Show Heilbronn 2019 (BUGA).
