About REYOND
REYOND GmbH, based in Kassel, specializes in the recycling of plastic waste. Together with partners, the company transforms production waste and post-consumer waste into pre-products for new products and covers the entire material cycle in plastics recycling. Its range of services extends from planning and consulting on recycling concepts, through logistics with collection and transport containers as well as individual conditioning solutions, to processing. Its core competence is the shredding and pure-fraction separation of plastic waste, including the separation of plastic-plastic and plastic-metal composites that were previously considered inseparable. Processes such as density separation, electrostatic charging, color sorting, laser spectroscopy and near-infrared technology are used for this purpose; mobile processing plants enable flexible deployment at the customer's site. An in-house research and development team as well as a laboratory for plastics analysis complement the offering. Customers come from the automotive industry, the medical sector, the food industry and construction.

Materials & Processes
Plastic waste
Production waste and post-consumer waste are processed into secondary raw materials.
Plastic-plastic composites
Are separated into pure material fractions through innovative process steps and returned to the cycle.
Plastic-metal composites
Separation takes place in a complex integrated production process.
Regranulate
Processed material that flows back into the circular economy as a pre-product for new products.

Quality
In its own laboratory, plastic types and their properties are determined; in this way, the selection of separation technology, the results of separation tests and the quality of the processed material are verified in order to guarantee pure-fraction material.
