About Rheinfelden Carbon
Rheinfelden Carbon Products GmbH develops and produces electrode pastes and specialty carbon masses for the electrometallurgical industry, including Söderberg masses, ramming pastes and collar pastes. Customers are operators of aluminium smelting furnaces as well as producers of silicon and iron-aluminium alloys. The product range includes a PAH-free, non-toxic electrode paste for Soederberg and composite furnaces as well as the LIMAK brand. Production is carried out entirely as continuous, computer-controlled in-line production on two separate production lines, which enables fast product changeovers and low variation in product quality. The company offers technical assistance in product development, tailor-made formulations and after-sales service. With around 50 employees, approximately 50,000 tonnes of carbon products are manufactured annually. The company belongs to the Aluminium Rheinfelden Group and has been part of the Rusal Group since 2021.
