About Rhenotherm

Rhenotherm Kunststoffcoatings GmbH is a specialist coating company for functional industrial and plastic coatings, established in 1977. As a contract coater, the company coats components made of metals, elastomers and plastics, including non-stick coatings (Rhenolease®: PTFE, MFA, PFA, FEP, PEEK, silicone, sol-gel), dry lubrication (Rhenolub®: MoS2, graphite, PTFE), corrosion protection coatings (Rhenoguard®: PFA, FEP, ETFE) as well as plasma coatings, thermal spraying and elastomer/plastic coating. The coatings are applied with precision using modern plant technology and robotics; electrically conductive variants, FDA-compliant systems and PFAS-free alternatives are available. In addition to conventional industrial sectors, Rhenotherm supplies the semiconductor industry, fuel cell and battery technology, environmental technology as well as film production, packaging, paper and medical technology. In-house research and development with its own laboratory, patents on individual coatings and government-funded research projects (including the BMBF project LEMBAS with Fraunhofer ILT) complement the offering. Since 2002 the company has been based in Kempen on the Lower Rhine, serving customers across Europe and worldwide.
